Thoughts
John it seems that I've caught your insomnia bug. Bug. Lovebug. I want to get bitten by Lovebugs, not mosquitoes. :( In "Bride Wars", Anne Hathaway's boyfriend calls Anne Hathaway "Bug." I think it's the cutest couple nickname.
I've been up reading Bill Bryson's "A Short History of Nearly Everything" and it has enriched my intellect and imagination by mountains! For a brief explanation of how our Universe works, ask me now!! Let's see what I've learnt during the past 2 hours!
The Mighty Atom - The Truth and the numerous misperceptionsTime and Space on a Cosmic scale - "Gravity does not really exist."Defining "Light" - Wave or Particle?Einstein's Theory of Relativity - What exactly is E=mc²?Schrodinger's Cat Theory (Thank you Gerald!) - The cat is 100% alive and 100% dead at the same timeHow wonderful Science is! And even how MORE wonderful our God is! Such dynamism and intricacy of our Universe could never
be by chance! Quantum physics is as mind-boggling and imagination-defeating as Cosmic relativity! Human brains are too feeble to even begin to understand, yet alone imagine how delicate and yet how insanely complex our Universe is.
Clearly, God doesn't play dice.
Life - at this present moment at 6.45am on 20th February 2009 - rocks. In a few minutes, Pa is going to come into my room to switch off the air-con and turn on the fan and open the window. In a few minutes, the sky will be bright. In a few hours, I have to pay a $20 fine. In a few hours, I'm going to feel a lot of pain in my mouth. But as of now, some bird is singing its good morning song, the air-con is still on, it's still dark outside, I'm under my blanket, in awe and wonderment of our Universe, listening to John Mayer.
Our Love was comfortable, and so broken in.
