The grass is greener where it rains.
What a week it has been. Indeed I must thank and praise God for His many blessings throughout these few days.
I can't bring myself to add a smiley face to this entry, simply because I'm not in that kind of mood now, neither do I owe anyone an explanation for this.
My parents have been nice lately, very thankful.
Christmas is coming, I can't wait. Although Orchard Road may not be as beautiful as 5 years ago because of the lousy sponsorship of certain companies who are like on, major budget, I know that all the lights and decorations is not the reason why we ought to celebrate. I know that, truly, Jesus is the reason for the season. And that alone brings much joy to me.
My mom bought a brownie and a little soft toy sheep holding a banner spelling "The Lord is my Shepherd". I think that's probably the sweetest thing I've actually realised she's done for me. I'm sure there were lots more, just that I never thanked her for it or even acknowledged her thoughtful-ness.
Things are going to be different next year. The anticipation is brewing.
Whatever, the night is too long. Hurry up and break dawn already. Argh.
