 happy national day

HI PEOPLE!
THE EVER PATRIOTIC PERSON HAS RETURNED FROM NEAR-DEATH.
i've decided that since i missed blogging on 9 August, which happens to be one the most celebrated and wonderful and awesome and fantastic day in the year where us Singaporeans come together to experience the love, the excitement and the ever exuberant joy, i shall make a short entry now, dedicating it to my Nation, my Country, my Love - SINGAPORE.

well, i'm sure everyone's aware that this year's theme is "Our Global City, Our Home". no doubt has our little nation prospered from a puny fishing kampong village to a vibrant and global city that we are today! we couldn't have done it with our nation's father Mr Lee Kwan Yew. SO BE THANKFUL AT LEAST FOR THIS OLD MAN LAH. :)

as we face many new arising challenges ahead such as bird flu, increasing oil prices, increasing water demands, increasing energy demands, as well as terrorism (which is highly on the rise), we have to work together as ONE PEOPLE to combat these problems. so, erm, love your neighbours (literally) and don't fight with the hawker centre aunties and uncles. everyone has a part to play in this.

Singapore is very blessed. and so are we, as Singaporeans, to live in a country of such wealth, security (THANK THE SAF) and good governance (YES ITS TRUE). so the next time you say the pledge and sing the national anthem (its called Majulah Singapore, not marikita), say it with an ever resounding pride so that people from all over the world will know who you are - SINGAPOREAN.

yup, as much as i would like to continue, i have to be a nerd and guai guai do my amath. so erm, shall update soon. hahahahaha. soon.
