guzheng prodigy

today was indeed a very amusing day.
went to joann's hse after school.
and....
discovered i had this natural talent for the guzheng.

i felt weirdly attracted to this instrument i've never touched before in my whole 14 years and 4 months and 20 days of existance. when i first laid my fingers on this peculiar chinese instrument, i felt new. the sound of the strings being plucked on the guzheng is very very nice. i studied this instrument carefully. and i started playing twinkle twinkle little star. (it's a big deal) all by myself. it was amazing. i love the guzheng. of course i'll need alot of practice to get as pro as joann. haha. i must say i've become her student now. hahah. she taught me part of a song. i can only play two phrases of the song. i wanted to continue playing, but i had to leave for tuition. so cool. the whole feel of playing that instrument is wow. so much more than playing a piano. of course, others might think otherwise. but it's alright. i'm going to practice more and succeed my grandfather and great grandfather who had great passion for chinese instruments. hahahahahaha.

yup. this is the highlight of the day.
but don't worry. i'll still be as loyal as ever to concert band.
east meets west.
when two worlds collide.
so exciting.
